A wheelchair platform stairlift can be a great way to solve access issues in your home. The Melody 2 platform lift can reach heights of up to 2 metres and can be used either indoors or outdoors.
The Melody removes the need for lengthy ramps and its sleek design and finish means that it will complement its surroundings. The Melody 2 does not have a support tower or mast which makes the design more pleasing to the eye, and different paint finishes can be applied to further blend the stairlift into the environment.
Melody 2 Platform Stairlift Features
A host of features ensure that the stairlift is safe, easy to use and maintain. Interlocking gates and a pressure sensitive under-pan keep the passenger secure and stop the lift in the event of an obstruction.
The stairlift will hold up to 500kg and has a battery back-up system to keep the lift functioning during a power cut. An integral ramp eliminates the need for a pit to be dug and makes the installation more efficient.
