Operation of the Harmony Wheelchair Stairlift
The Harmony through floor stairlift can be used as a wheelchair stairlift or fitted with a seat for users who do not use a wheelchair. The efficient design means the lift makes the most of limited space and is only slightly larger on the outside than on the inside.
The stairlift is called using controls installed on the wall, and the door of the lift is opened using a second button control. The stairlift contains an integral ramp to allow entry and exit. When the passenger is aboard the door is closed with a simple push of a button.
The direction is then selected by the passenger and the ceiling panel is automatically lifted and replaced as the stairlift makes its journey. Simple and easy.
Features of the Harmony Wheelchair Stairlift
The Harmony wheelchair stairlift comes with a number of fantastic features. A battery back-up ensures the lift remains operational in the event of a power failure. The wheelchair version of the Harmony is also fitted with a powered door, to make entry and exit of the lift as easy as possible for the passenger.
The movement controls for the lift are fitted at both floor levels and within the stairlift, so you can control the lift no matter where you are. The Harmony is rigorously tested and built to exacting fire and safety standards.
Additional Options
A host of additional options are available for the Harmony wheelchair stairlift including, a telephone within the car, a range of trim colours (to co-ordinate with your decor!), special car sizes and a range of maintenance plans.
