Freelift Rembrandt Curved Stairlift
The Freelift Rembrandt stairlift is designed to be fixed on the inner bend of curved stairs so if your relative’s stairs are curved, narrow and/or steep, for example if they live in a terraced house, this is the perfect stairlift for their needs. The stairlift chair itself not only folds away neatly when not in use, but because the rail is fitted to the tighter, inner bend of the stairs the wider part of the step is left clear for easier access for all the family.
How to choose your new Freelift Stairlift
When you’re choosing a Freelift Stairlift you firstly choose your rail type, according to the type of stairs you have, and then you choose which seat you want. There are four to choose from; the Classic, Select, Comfort and the Panda for children. The adult seats also have a choice of colours so you can blend the lift in with the decor of your home.
All the seats have the following features to ensure maximum safety of the passenger at all times:
• Joystick control: this easy to use control can be positioned on the left or right arm
• Key switch: the key can be removed to prevent anybody using the lift who isn’t safe to do so perfect if you have the grandchildren round to stay
• Space saving design: The arm rests and foot support can be folded away easily, leaving plenty of space for other stair users
• Safety belt: for complete safety and protection every chair has a safety belt
• Manual seat swivel: a push down lever allows you to swivel the seat so you can get on it easily and safely. A powered seat swivel option is available and controlled via the joystick.
There are also some additional options to make things even easier for your relative
• Footrest linkage: this just means that when you fold the stairlift seat up the footrest folds away at the same time, handy if your relative struggles to bend down
• Off-centre footrest: this is ideal if you have tight winding stairs and is unique to Freelift
