The S7 wheelchair stairlift is designed with simplicity and ease of use in mind.

The stairlift can be installed on straight stairs, attaching to either the wall or stanchion posts.  It can be folded away when not in use so the stairs remain unblocked for other users.

The barrier arm and ramp are both powered so the wheelchair stairlift is no problem for the passenger to operate independently.  The lift is operated by simple controls and can even be called when folded away. 

Safety Features 

The lift will not operate until the barrier arm and ramp are in place, so there is no chance of the passenger being able to use the lift when they are not correctly engaged.  The stairlift has a pressure sensitive undertray which stops the lift if it senses an obstruction. 

The S7 wheelchair stairlift is manufactured both to British and European safety standards.  In the unlikely event of the stairlift failing, it can be operated using a manual hand wind.
