The Melody 1 platform stairlift is designed to overcome access problems in buildings where ramps are not a viable option, due to the length’s required to achieve a satisfactory gradient.

A platform stairlift can be installed quickly and easily and with variable lift heights and minimalist design, it is a effective and unobtrusive solution.

Melody Platform Stairlift Features

The Melody can be installed inside or outside and has a maximum load capacity of 250kg.  It has a lifting height of up to 1 metre and has a smooth stainless steel finish, with a number of paint options available, to make the platform stairlift blend seamlessly with its surroundings.

One of the key features of the Melody is the lack of a stand or mast, that is usually associated with platform lifts.  It also does not require a pit as it has an integral ramp.  This cuts down on the building work required and minimises the disruption to the business.

The stairlifts controls are simple and easy to operate and the Melody comes with battery back-up, in the event of a power cut.   It also has a locking gate and a platform ’safe edge’ which stops the stairlift if it should touch an object.
