Meditek offer a stand and perch model, the SP100, that has several features to make the ride as comfortable as possible including a fully height adjustable seating arrangement that allows either a standing or perching position.
If you want extra peace of mind for your relative then the Mk1G Stand and Perch has a safety barrier arm and the option of a larger footrest.
