Thanks for getting in touch. I have spoken to our reconditioning team about your lift and I’m afraid that on this occasion, they cannot use it. The age is a factor and it is just a little too old for them to use, even though you have kept it in tip-top condition.

I am in the same position as Mrs Key – we have an Acorn Superglide 120 stairlift which was bought in April 2001 for my father and which was removed from my parent’s house just over a year ago and has been in dry storage ever since. It was fully serviced up to the time of removal and has two remote controls and a straight rail for a modern house (I don’t have the exact length to hand)
I would be grateful to know if your reconditioning team would be interested in buying this lift.

Dear Mrs Key,

We sometimes can buy used stair lifts but it does depend on the type of stair lift it is, its age and condition. Could you let me know what kind of stair lift it is please? I can then let our reconditioning team know and get an answer for you.

If you know roughly how old it is, that would help to.

I am just enquiring if you buy used stair lifts, we have had to put my mother in law into a home and do not know what to do with it.
