Stannah Stairlifts Child Seat
Stannah have developed a stairlift specifically for children.
Working with children’s mobility specialist – R82 – the child seat is built from the ground up, with the safety and comfort of children in mind.
Stairlift Features
The child seat stairlift can be fitted to both straight and curved staircases.
The seat is designed to offer a comfortable, supportive ride on the stairlift. A range of different accessories and seat harnesses are available, to further tailor the seat to the exact needs of the child.
Either a directional joystick or button controls operate the stairlift and can be fitted in either the left or right arm. If you would prefer the child not to operate the lift- the controls can be removed leaving the operation controlled by remote only.
A swivel seat is operated by ‘light-touch’ levers on both sides of the seat. This makes getting off the stairlift safe and secure. A powered swivel can be added at additional cost. The powered swivel makes things even easier with either a remote control or button controlled action.
Safety sensors in the carriage stop the lift if an obstruction is detected on the stairs, preventing any collisions. If you need to disable the stairlift when it is not in use, a key switch under the arm rest can be turned – immobilising the lift.
Additional Features
A range of additional accessories can be added the child seat to make it as easier to use as possible. A head rest, side supports, seat harness and seat extension can all be added for additional support if required.
Peace of Mind
All new Stannah stairlifts come with a two year warranty and two free services. Reconditioned models have a one year warranty and one free service.
