Renting a stairlift is a great alternative to making a purchase.
The Stannah stairlift rental scheme for example, gives you a either a brand new or re-conditioned stairlift, installation and servicing for the life of the rental, all at the fraction of the cost of purchasing the stairlift brand new.
They offer stairlifts for both straight and curved stairs and you can choose from some of their most popular models. Take your pick from either the Solus, Sofia and Saxon for straight stairs and the Solus, Sofia and Sarum for curved. Both new and re-conditioned models are available and rest assured, the re-conditioned models have been tested thoroughly by Stannah’s engineers and will run like new.
You need to pay an intial deposit which covers adminstration, installation and future removal. You then pay a monthly fee for the duration of the rental. You can cancel the agreement at any time you wish and you only have to pay one months rent in advance.
Stairlift Rental Prices
Take a look at the prices below (ex VAT):
New straight stairlift – deposit of £695 with a monthly rental charge of £77.
Re-condtioned straight stairlift – deposit of £595 with a monthly rental charge of £57.
New curved stairlift – deposit of £1200 with a monthly rental charge of £160.
Re-condtioned curved stairlift – £1000 with a monthly rental charge of £148.
Remember, during your rental period you are completely covered against any breakdowns and Stannah will come out and repair it free of charge.
