Designed for your Home
Sarum stairlifts run on twin, slim-line rails designed to fit your stair case exactly. The dual rail ensures a smooth ride up and down the stairs and the bespoke fitting means the rails take up as little room as possible, leaving the stairs clear for other people. The pearl finish blends rails in with your existing decoration.
Safety & Comfort
Stairlifts from Stannah always come with lots of features designed with safety and comfort in mind. The Sarum is no different. A swivel seat, operated by levers on both sides of the chair, make mounting and dismounting the stair lift safe and easy. A powered swivel is available to make this process even easier, but does not come as standard.
When you have dismounted the stair lift the foot rest can be folded away to save space. There is no need to bend down - just use the footrest lever and the rest comes up flush to the carriage. Simple.
Further safety features include an easy to use, retractable seat belt that keeps the passenger securely in the seat of the stair lift and in-built sensors that detect the presence of obstructions on the stairs and stop the lift to prevent any accidents. If you are worried about anybody else using the lift when you are not around, inquisitive children or grandchildren for example, don’t worry. Sarum stairlifts come with a key switch beneath the arm rest that immobilises the lift, preventing any joy rides!
The Sarum is battery powered, running seperatly from mains power. This ensure the stair lift can be used in the event of a power cut, never leaving you trapped upstairs or downstairs. The battery recharges itself, so it is always ready to go.
Simple to Operate, Wherever You Are
The Sarum can be fitted with either push button directional controls or a joystick, whichever you find the most comfortable to use. These controls can be fitted to either of the arms. The stair lift can also be called when you are not aboard, from either the top or the bottom of the stairs. Controls fitted to the wall mean you can call the lift from wherever you are.
Stair lift Warranty and Service
Stannah provide a full two year warranty of all new Sarum stairlifts. This also includes two free services, to keep your curved stair lift in tip top shape. In the unlikely event of a breakdown, Stannah’s nationwide network of engineers can be called out at any time of day, every day of the year.
